Dark Moon Rising - From nothing to Something

Thinking back to how it all started I shake my head in amazement.  Could a couple of sentences spark a whole book?  Yes it could if you have an imaginations as big as a mustard seed and are not afraid to let the characters do their thing.

February 2009.  I will never forget the year or the month these word came to me.  When the Dark Moon Rises for the second time.  Gemini will be turned.  One light, One dark. Together forever.  Being me I just had to find out where this would lead.  Never in my wildest dreams I would have thought it would be a vampire novel or that I would publish it.

I will never know where these words came from but I am forever thankful.  The journey was full of trials and tribulations but I made it.  I servived the rise of the Dark Moon.  My book is out there and I feel like a proud cock walking about in my mental world.

Writing about a make believe world which created itself as the words poured onto the A4 pages of my note pad will be one of the best experience of my life.  Just to think that these character chose me to bring them to life is awesome.

As I think of Alex,  I smile.  Independent.  Stubborn.  Practical.  Are words that come to mind.  Girl you take being unique to a new level of weird.  I can't wait to see what you get up to in book two and how  you deal with what life throws at you.

All I know is that book two will be more hectic. I will have to hang on to my writing seat as I let you guys direct the pace of the story which I know will be amazing once it it out.
